Succesful Surgery

-Treating dark spots and patches left behind due to skin problems like acne/ burns/sunburn/ injury, etc, in addition to depigmenting creams, this laser helps in significantly increasing the speed of clearance in resistant cases.

-Tattoo removal: works best for back/ dark inks. May require 3-10 sessions at 6-8 week intervals depending on the type of ink used and individual tendencies. This laser remains the gold standard for tattoo removal even though the outcome is a little unpredictable. It is done under anesthesia using a numbing cream and involves mild to moderate redness, inflammation and swelling over the tattoo area for 3-7 days. Newer treatment protocols like R20 and combination with fractional CO2 lasers have resulted in the need for fewer sessions than before. It is important to have clear and realistic expectations when getting tattoo removal done, and its best to get inked after careful consideration. No lasers work very well for colored tattoos and I strongly recommend you think twice about getting multicolored tattoos.

-Lip lightening: works well for stubborn lip pigmentation where creams are generally ineffective. Mild swelling of the lips with a burning sensation can be expected for 1-3 days after each session.

-Hair removal: Good lasers like ours have an SLP mode, which helps in the permanent reduction of fine hairs, which are generally not targeted effectively by conventional hair removal devices.

FAQs:

Does the laser harm internal organs or have long term side effects?
Not at all. Laser is a light based technology, not radiation based. Light does not penetrate your skin. The wavelength of light used is also very far from the cancer causing UV rays and is hence, completely harmless.
When aggressive parameters are used for some indications, it may occasionally lead to a few acne-like bumps or changes in pigmentation. These are completely treatable and rare.
The job of the laser is to remove the existing problem. Whether the problem will recur or not will depend on your adherence to your prescription and skin care like proper use of sunscreen.
No. In some indications where aggressive parameters are needed, you may have mild discomfort. Tattoo removal is done after numbing the area with an anesthetic cream.
